Grocery Store News: the “Who”, the “What”, and the “What Is Next?”
Information on the land use applications currently being processed for three grocery stores in Truckee.
The Truckee Planning Division is currently processing land use applications for three grocery stores. There has been a lot of community dialog about the who, what and when of these grocery stores. This fact sheet was created for information sharing purposes. As of the writing of this fact sheet, November 27, 2017, these are proposed projects; none of the land use applications have been approved by the Town of Truckee. However, all of these grocery store projects are anticipated to be considered by the Truckee Planning Commission in the next few months.

Glenshire Devonshire Annual and Regular September meetings
Join us for Glenshire Devonshire’s Annual Membership meeting. Hot topics will be results of the Board of Director’s election results and our 2018 budget.
The annual dues were last increased in 2015. The GDRA Board of Directors will be considering raising annual dues in 2018 by $30 a year to offset inflation with the majority set as a line item in Capital expenses to help the Glenshire Lake health through drainage and sediment control and improvement projects. The current Board analyzed that smaller expenses incurred now to increase Lake health can prevent larger issues and expenses at a latter date. The board will also be considering raising pool pass fees to help offset inflation and the continued State of California increases in minimum wage. Pool pass fees were last increased in 2015. Along the same lines Clubhouse rental fees will be looked at because of increased cleaning and maintenance costs.
The Annual Meeting also provides a time when members can speak with the GDRA board members in an open forum format. No policies can be passed but items can be considered for future meetings.
