If your child is interested in learning new skills or becoming more comfortable in his/her talent this is the perfect opportunity for them. This class will focus on 2-dimensional art with an emphasis on drawing, color and composition. All art materials will be provided, and artwork kept in individual portfolios.
An art show to display all artwork created during the clubhouse art classes will be hosted soon after completion of the art class series.
Instructor: Barbara Weil
Barbara moved to Glenshire in 2021 with her husband Denis. She is a dedicated and passionate teacher with many years of experience. She has been a public-school art teacher and middle school principal. Barbara is a huge advocate of creating community and is thrilled to be part of the team of instructors joining us this summer.
Times:
Session 1 – Group 1 (for ages 6–8): Tuesdays July 11th, 18th and 25th, 1pm to 2pm
Session 1 – Group 2 (for ages 9–11): Thursdays July 13th, 20th and 27th, 1pm to 2pm
Session 2 – Group 1 (for ages 6–8): Tuesdays August 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd, 1pm to 2pm
Session 2 – Group 2 (for ages 9-11): Thursdays August 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th, 1pm to 2pm
Cost:
Session 1: $25 per child
Session 2: $35 per child
Session 1 + Session 2, same child: $50
