Please review the below information prior to making reservations
Pre-season session: 3 weekends in a row, offering Saturday and Sunday sessions- Starts weekend of 6/8/24
Session 1: 3 consecutive days on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Levels available for these sessions: 1, 2, 3 & 4/5
Session 2: 3 Saturdays in a row
Levels available for these sessions: 1, 2, 3 & 4/5
Lessons for the rest of the season will be posted by June 15th, following a similar schedule
Swim Lesson Sessions Dates:
- Pre-season session:
- Saturday: 6/8/24, 6/15/24, 6/22/24 (3 consecutive Saturdays)
- Sunday: 6/9/24, 6/16/24, 6/23/24 (3 consecutive Sundays)
- Session 1: 6/26/24-6/28/24 (Between 9:40am – 12:10pm – Weds thru Fri)
- Session 2: 6/29/24, 7/6/24, 7/13/24 (Between 9:40am – 12:10pm – 3 consecutive Saturdays)
- Private Sessions: 6/26/24 – 7/31/24 (Between 12:20pm – 2:00pm)
Swim Lesson Levels:
- Level 1
- For the beginner to get comfortable in the water.
- Swimmers learn basics of swimming: bobbing, going under water, supported front and back floating, supported rolling over from front to back and back to front, supported gliding, supported flutter kick, supported front crawl arms, and jumping in.
- Level 2
- Swimmers should already be able to float on front and back and put their head under water.
- Swimmers will work on independent front and back floating, independent rolling over from front to back and back to front, independent front and back glides, front crawl arms and kicks, back crawl arms and kicks, retrieving underwater objects, and jumping into water over their head.
- Level 3
- Swimmers should already be comfortable swimming front stroke and swimming on their back.
- Swimmers will work on gliding, freestyle with side breathing, backstroke, breaststroke and dolphin kicks, retrieving objects in deeper water, treading water, jumping into deep water and compact dives.
- Level 4/5
- Swimmers should already be able to: swim front and back crawl 50 yards.
- Swimmers will work on rotary breathing, freestyle, backstroke, elementary backstroke, scissors kick and sidestroke, whip kick and breaststroke, intro to turning at wall, treading water with modified scissors, and diving in kneeling position.
- Private Lessons
- All levels, including stroke improvement welcome!
Lessons are available to ages 4 and older. Level 1 lessons are open for potty trained 3 yr olds, upon instructor approval. Lessons are $55.00 per student/for 3 consecutive sessions.
